In this article we will cover how to manage approvals in Slack with HelpDesk+.

We will not cover how to configure Jira Service Desk approval workflows. You can find more information on that topic here:

HelpDesk+ Application Home Tab

Any approvals that are assigned to you, or multiple users, will show in your HelpDesk+ home tab. This section in our home tab only displays if you have awaiting approvals.

Additionally, when a ticket requires your approval, you will receive a direct message from the HelpDesk+ bot prompting you to take action.

Clicking "Approve or Decline" will mark ticket ticket as approved or declined in Jira Service Desk.

The ticket requestor will receive the following message when approved.
