Keeping tickets in the right status is a key part of keeping your process moving. Good news here is that our bot provides a few different ways of making this happen directly from Slack
You have multiple options for transitioning tickets.
- Use the transition control displayed with viewing a ticket in Slack
- Chat with the bot in a channel or private message.
Using the Slack control:
- When you mention a ticket number, the bot will respond with a summary message.
- Click the "view" button to display the full ticket details.
Select ticket transition status from the options in the dropdown.
Select the desired status value to update the ticket status.
